Professional Profile

After having gathered a two years experience as in-house translator, I started to work as freelancer shortly after receiving my Degree in Translation (2005). I worked as full-time freelancer till the autumn of 2009 when I accepted to join Euro-lingo’s team as Translation Manager and Country Representative. During my freelancing time, I was motivated by my customers to specialize in IT and to learn to use various CAT tools and localization testing techniques & tools. This gave me a great opportunity to work closely with the developers.

Three years later, it was time for me to seek new horizons as my baby girl was born and I wanted to focus on both aspects: profession and motherhood. So in 2012, I restarted to work as a full-time freelance translator. All my previously acquired knowledge of freelancing made my life easier in the outside world. My old customers and the new connections did the rest, and my first clients (former satisfied customers) soon started to request my services.

In 2013, I started to work at soho-translations concept – working from my own office at home, serving my customers with the same enthusiasm as the first day.

My customers say I am a professional and a friendly person. I feel grateful for their trust after those years, and thankful to have a profession that allows me to keep learning every day from various fields and cultures.
